In-Home Teacher and Caregiver - Houston, TX

​

As a teacher and caregiver with Special Me, you will:

  • Work with the Special Me team to develop a program that is tailored to the unique interests and needs of the children in your care

  • Plan and implement activities and curriculum that support the children's development through rich language, loving care, and interactive play

  • Ensure the children's health and safety at all times through close supervision and adherence to a robust set of daily protocols

  • Provide consistency and reliability to the child and family

What you need to succeed as a teacher and caregiver:

  • Associates degree or higher preferred

  • Minimum two years of experience working with infants (feedings, naps, changings)

  • Flexibility to help with light household chores (baby laundry, food prep, light clean up, bottle cleaning)

  • Experience with developmental support 

  • Ability to confidently interact with parents and form strong relationships

 

To be considered, you must be willing to travel to the job’s location (a private family home). You must also be legally authorized to work in the US.
